Mountain View County Exteriors

Mountain View County stretches from the Rocky View boundary north to Red Deer County, and from productive mixed farmland along the QEII west to the forestry edge around Sundre, Bergen and Water Valley. It surrounds Carstairs, Didsbury, Olds, Cremona and Sundre, and the properties in it range from grain and cattle operations to country-residential acreages to forestry-edge parcels in the trees.

The county splits into two quite different working environments, and we specify accordingly. The eastern side along the QEII is open prairie: sustained wind rather than gusts, driven rain and snow against wall assemblies, and wind-blown field debris in eavestroughs.
